Way to go, Erie, PA!

Did you hear?

A humble scientist in Erie, PA has discovered a method where he can burn SALT WATER using radio waves!

Where was Hitlary when it came to discovering THIS, eh?  (*props to you Cannuks*)

Originally, he was looking for a treatment to cure cancer, and this involved delivering a metal substance only to cancerous cells and then blasting simple radio waves at these cancerous cells.  The metal now associated with these cells would heat up due to the exposure to the radio waves, and the cancer cells would die, leaving the healthy cells unaffected!

While doing this research, he happened to discover that he could use the same radio waves to get simple salt water to separate into its two components: H2 and O2, and he could then combust them in a sustainable reaction that produced NOTHING but heat and water vapor. 

My question is what will this do to the "societies" that have grown up in the World of Oil?

What is Osama thinking?

Osama Bin Laden released his newest video recently - maybe last night or the day before.  Who cares?  In the video, he pleads with the viewer "to join the Jihad against the infidels" in one manner or another.  All he wants these followers to do is to commit suicide while commiting homicide against these infidels.

Why can't Osame take a Christian perspective of this?  Why can't he have himself rubbed out so that he can rise from the dead and show us HIS way?  Why can't he do this?  Wouldn't he have MORE converts to his version Wahabiism were he to sacrifice himself, rise from the dead, and lead his followers to Allah himself? 

Oh?  This has happened before?  What was his name?  Oh, right.  Jesus Christ!  Forgive me.

What's going to happen if Al Qaeda decide to mark the Petreus speech with an attack?

So!  What's going to happen should the people whom the Dims here in the States are supporting decide that the time that Petreus has chosen to address Congress on the gains our forces have made in Iraq is a time in which it is best for them to make more attacks?

What will the Dims make of the timing of this attack and the subsequent deaths it generates?

Will it be another Tet?  My guess is that it won't because there is no N. Vietnam associated with the effort.  Sure, there is Iran, but the local Iraqis are able to see them like sore thumbs and discriminate between them and fellow Iraqis.  Who knows?

It's just a tiny thought.

Do you smoke?  Oh!  You do?  You tired of paying the high prices associated with buying the premium brands of cigarettes? 

You are?  Well, you are killing yourself when you smoke!

Oh!  You already knew that!  Well, why do you do it then? 

Ah!  Smoking makes you feel good and it can put a shine on a seemingly miserable day?  Of course!  Makes sense!  It is YOUR life after all, and you are NOT a robot!  Well, thank goodness you DO smoke because the high taxes that you are paying are "helping" so many people!

So!  Let me get this straight!  Taxing an activity acts to deter the activity, right?  Sounds logical!  Since the activity costs more with the taxes fewer people will partake in the activity.  This makes a WORLD of sense to me.

So, if raising taxes deters an activity, then why are the Dims SO eager to raise taxes on the richest among us?  It's the richest among us who provide the capital for the rest of us to work, i.e. they buy the products that we produce, especially the HIGH-END products.

Yep!  Doesn't make sense to me.

What's that?  Yep!  If the economy tanks in the early months of '09, and a Dim is sitting behind-the-desk in the Oval Office, he/she is likely to blame Bush for the problem and throw his/her shoulders in the air and then point a finger at GWB.

Yahoo News claims that Hollywood is going to start producing MANY anti-war movies!

Forgive me for NOT reading the column, but my interest in the column waned as much as my desire to watch MANY of the sequels this summer.  The ONLY gain in this news announcement is that none of these movies is going to be called Plattoon II or Apocolypse Now and AGAIN.

After a summer of sequels, this may be good news for those of us who are hungry for something NEW from Hollywood.  In MY opinion, the LAST decent movie that Hollywood released was The Passion of the Christ three years ago, and no one in Hollywood wanted to touch it prior to its release, and the story it told is 2000 years old!  It subsequently became the HIGHEST grossing movie of ALL time.  Stick that in your eye, Hollywood.

These "new" movies aren't new at all.  They are the same pap that Hollywood has released since Vietnam.  Nothing new.  Same pap; different day.

Weren't those "re-education camps" the same sort of camps Kerry doesn't like today in GITMO?  It depends on your definition of "re-eductation camps."  He has the NERVE to explain that those who endured these "re-education camps" are doing REALLY well in the communist culture of Vietnam.  Does this goon understand what he is saying?

The Honest Source of Obama's Money.

If someone on Obama's team did an honest investigation of his supporters, he would learn, more than likely, that MANY of his contributors are conservatives who are giving him the money to fight Hitlary.  Well, it may be poorly-spent money, but it is theirs to spend as they see fit.  It was this same mentality that gave Howard Dean all that money, back in '04, which he screamed away!  *laughter*

These conservatives are the types who like to see dims sweat, and if it is a Clinton who is doing the sweating, THAT is even better.  It's a sly tactic, and none on the Obama team is going to do such an investigation!  What this allows some of my conservative breathren to do is to influence the other party in a way they wish.  With the dims, all you need to do is throw a little coin in the ring and watch them tear each other apart as they scrap for it.

Primary season can be better than the general election season if you know where to look and know what to expect.  It's great sport.

The issue continues.  The republicans in Minnesota are giving Al Franken a leg up.  Again, which is great!  NO problem with that.  That's fine.  It is THEIR money, and they can spend it any way that they like.

The rabid dims went nuts when Rumsfeld resigned however many months ago it was.  For a while they fed on the Attorney General, but some richer meat has found its way into the water now.

Now, the dims have their sights set on the Number Two man - VP Cheney.  They are looking to remove all of Bush's support prior to his resignation and replacement in the beginning of '09.  They aren't patient enough to let him leave quietly.  They want to scratch up as much dust and make as much noise as they can.  They are looking to get Cheney in front of some cameras to catch him in a lie that they can plaster ALL over the 1830 hours network news shows.  They seem to believe that this will force Bush to demand his resignation somehow.  Shoot, pun intended, GWB refused to demand his resignation after Cheney shot a friend while they were hunting.

The Dims are just too funny, and they are gunning to get him removed-from-office before the election in '08.  They want to remove all of GWB's support so that he is standing alone by the time the election rolls around.

That "picture" of her daughter with the belt of faux bullets slung over her shoulder is a FAKE!  Here's why. 

Were it a real event, you would figure that Rosie would have shot video of the event.  Since her daughter didn't want really to WEAR the costume, Rosie could only get a picture.  Had she used video, you would have seen the daughter crying and arguing with her mother,

"Mommy, I don't want to wear this!  Why are you making me wear this.  Isn't there a CHOICE for me NOT to wear this?"

Oh!  Another issue you MAY be able to take to the bank.  Apparently, her daughter is not going to "embrace" the same lifestyle that Rosie has chosen because the little girl appears not to mind getting poked in the face with sharp objects!  In the picture, the bullets in the belt are pointed towards her face.

What's with all these pictures of dogs and cats snuggling with one another?  To me, this smacks of an attempt by the "media" to indoctrinate young minds that it's okay to see dogs and cats sleeping together just like it's okay for two men or two women to be sleeping together.  It's a manifestation of the "I'm okay; you're okay" mindet.  As long as no one is getting "hurt" there are no issues with these lifestyles.  Of course, this depends on what your definition of PAIN is.

Not only are the media out to influence us humans into accepting ALL relationships, since they are getting kickbacks from the legal field, but now they are out to influence religion by explaining that there are female sharks that some aquarium has kept isolated from male sharks and that the female shark is pregnant.  The media want us to believe that animals can have immaculate conception too!  So THAT sort of dampens the excitement associated with the birth, life, and death of our Savior Jesus Christ.  Since it can happen to a shark, then it must not be such a big deal.

  Here is another picture of an animal that appears to be the product of "cross-species" breeding.  So, soon, the media will be telling us,

"Look!  The animals do it!  Since we are animals like they are, it is okay for us to do it too!" 

You just wait!  Call me what you will, but soon what we humans used to consider a disgusting habit will be embraced by the media, and the media will tell us that it is better if Bubba "breeds" with the sheep because THAT is better than having him trying to knock up his little sister or cousin.  Getting off one's rocks will be raised to a level of respect that it has not seen since the downfall of Rome!

Let's Withdraw Congress from the U.S!

If the opinion of Congress is SO low, we need to withdraw it from the United States!

This is what Harry Reid should be explaining because this is what he says about the Iraq War!  Since public opinion is SO low in support of the war in Iraq, we need to do "something," and his "something" is to reduce our presence in the area so that the "freedom fighters" will like us more!

Well, we Americans would like it more if Congress followed his logic and removed itself (withdrew) from the battlefield of American culture.  Amscray, Congress!

Makes a world of sense to me.  They would be following his logic, and since he is the "Leader" of the Senate, he MUST be one of the smartest men in the country.  So his logic must work!  Since the public's opinion of Congress is lower than the opinion of the Iraq War, it must take a higher priority than the withdrawal from Iraq.

So, you first, Harry!

More Reflections on the Clinton Years

Libs of all stripes like to reflect on the '90s as a wonderful time when gas prices were low, and no one was bothering us.  Foreign affairs were an afterthought, and only the bubble-headed goons in Washington, D.C. needed to concern themselves with any of those global issues.

The Soviet Union was gone.  It evaporated early in the '90s thanks to the efforts of Reagan/Bush, and we turned missle silos into high-end housing.  It took a LOT of cash to transform an usable but newly-obsolete silo into living space.  Nonetheless, such tasks appealed to some people, and such things happened - back in the '90s.

The new millenium dawned in 2001.  We Americans decided we'd had enough of democratic politics of the '90s at the helm and elected GWB to the office at the end of the year prior.  No problem.  The Dims went screaming and crying because of dimpled chads and a failed election system of which they approved until this particular election.  It was the Dims who gave us the voting system that we had here in PBC until the election in '00. 

We elected GWB, and gas prices started to move.  Can anyone tell me WHY prices started shooting through the roof upon GWB's election?  Well, the reason is simple.  The election of GWB meant that we, as a country, were more likely to respond militarily to events such as the bombing of the U.S. embassiess in Africa.  The people who buy and sell gas futures knew that a dimocratic administration would not respond militarily to minor attacks that are far away.  So fuel prices didn't move much during this time.

Well, we got the sucker punch on the morning of 9/11/01.  The attack surpassed all attacks suffered during the 90s and the Clinton administration: the U.S. embassies in Africa and the Cole to which Clinton asked the military just to shrug it off. 

So, for those of you who are kicking and screaming about the gas prices, you need to vote for one of those "troops-supporting" dimocrats.  Be warned, however, in that doing so is likely to get us attacked again in a manner that will make the attacks on 9/11 look like minor events.  So it's a gamble you have to consider during the next elections. 

To vote for a dim is to ask the terrorists to attack us again because we will refuse to take the fight to them.

For those of you who have forgotten the eight years when Billy Clinton served as POTUS, you need to be reminded of the Clinton Code.  It seemed that whenever Clinton told us something "truthful" he was lying through his teeth.  It was his "code."  He would tell his closest friends,

"Watch me pull the wool over these people's eyes.  Whenever I mention the word 'truthful,' it means that what you are hearing is a lie."

The word "honest" doesn't exist in their lexicon.  There is no wiggling around the meaning of the term "honest," while you can throw some doubt at the meaning of the word "truthful" and make it stick. 

My personal aversion to seeing Hitlary on TV keeps me from listening too closely to what she says.  The tone of her voice makes the hair on the back of my neck crawl.  Too bad she can't hire a voice coach to change her voice like she hired a cosmetician to change the way she appears on TV.

From the "front lines" of Tropical Storm Barely - errr...Barry.    

Just a little wind and a lot more much-needed rain.

The weathermen/women were explaining LAST week just how much water we needed down here in S. Florida, and the weather gods responded this weekend.  No big deal.  Now, the weather-people will be telling us that the weather god needs to turn OFF the spiggot, or we're going to drown!  *laughter*
